Emilia Rastrick shares how, In light of the ongoing attack on federal workers, a dedicated group of veterans has been organizing a grassroots advocacy network to ensure their experiences and challenges are heard where it matters most.

The Chamberlain Network submitted a letter signed by almost 800 Americans, over half of whom are veterans, to the House and Senate Veterans Affairs Committees asking them to protect U.S. veterans and other federal civil servants by reinstating those who were capriciously and unlawfully terminated by executive orders. 

The Chamberlain Network condemns the Trump Administration’s most recent Executive Order – Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections – a sweeping order which consolidates executive power over elections.  This order will disenfranchise thousands of eligible voters, including members of the military and their families serving overseas.  

The Chamberlain Network is pleased to announce it has been awarded a significant general operating grant from the Democracy Communications Collaborative (DCC). Funding will be used to underwrite The Chamberlain Network’s mission – mobilizing and empowering veterans to protect democracy.

The Chamberlain Network unequivocally condemns the administration’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act (AEA) to justify deportation without due process against Venezuelan migrants. This reckless abuse of power violates American constitutional principles, civil-military norms, and fundamental human rights.
