The Chamberlain Network First Anniversary Celebration
Location: Foggy Bottom, Washington, D.C. (Exact location provided upon registration)
Just over a year ago, we began with a mission: to elevate veterans as trusted messengers and civic leaders in defense of our democracy. We could never have imagined all that we have been able to accomplish in just over a year. Since last August, we’ve:
Brought 10,000 veterans to Washington, D.C. through the Unite for Veterans rally to demand accountability in support of federal jobs, veteran healthcare, and essential VA services.
Opposed the use of troops in civilian law enforcement in Los Angeles, D.C., and beyond
Launched campaigns centering veteran voice and experiences on issues like the importance of overseas voting, opposing the January 6 pardons, and challenging the use of the military in immigration enforcement
And we’ve only just begun! We couldn’t have done any of this without you. As a thank you, we’d like to invite you to join us for a special evening to celebrate all that we have accomplished together.
Refreshments will be provided.

NDAA Training
Location: Virtual
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is an annual law that Congress passes to authorize funding and establish policies for national defense. It covers things like: the Department of Defense (DOD), nuclear weapons programs at the Department of Energy (DOE), defense intelligence programs, and other defense activities of the federal government (e.g., military construction projects, homeland security programs).
The NDAA is one of the few laws that Congress almost always agrees on and passes every year. Because of that, it’s also a popular way for members of Congress to try to get other defense-related ideas or changes into law. The Chamberlain Network and Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) are hosting an NDAA training to help you understand this legislative vehicle -- how the process unfolds and how you can make your voice heard.

Ohio Veterans Gathering
The Chamberlain Network invites veterans and military family members to join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and purpose in Shaker Heights. This happy hour is more than just a social gathering—it’s an opportunity to come together with others who’ve worn the uniform and care deeply about the future of our country.
We’ll be talking about how veterans can work together to strengthen our democracy, support one another, and show up for immigrant communities through mutual aid and local organizing. Whether you’ve been involved in civic work for years or are just beginning to think about how to plug in, you’re welcome here.
This is a casual, off-the-record event designed to build relationships and spark collaboration among those who share a common commitment to service and community.
RSVP is required to attend.
Location details will be shared upon confirmation.

Unite for Veterans March
Location: Virtual
The Chamberlain Network is a proud partner of the Unite for Veterans rally. Veterans and military family members are being fired by the thousands from federal jobs. Our healthcare is being gutted. Our benefits are under siege. This isn't the first time veterans have had to fight for what was promised. From the Bonus Army of 1932 to the battles for the GI Bill and Agent Orange care, veterans have always led the charge for justice.
Now, it's our turn.
We rally to:
Defend veteran and military family member employment in the federal workforce
Stop the privatization and weakening of the Department of Veterans Affairs
Hold political leaders accountable for policies that harm veterans and their families
Register here to join us and for updates.
