OUR WORK

Free & Fair Elections

Veterans swore an oath to defend a Constitution built on the consent of the governed. That consent is expressed through elections. Today, elections are under pressure. Protecting that process means ensuring accurate counts, equal access, and rules that reflect the will of voters, not the preferences of the powerful.

TCN works to ensure electoral integrity and expand access to the ballot — because elections should be transparent, representative, and worthy of public trust.

At The Chamberlain Network, protecting one of our most important shared American traditions means providing opportunities for our community to:

LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW ELECTIONS WORK

Elections across the country are run by professionals. Voters can be confident that trained officials will ensure safe and secure elections that follow the law. Veterans can amplify what they know about the meticulous steps taken to verify vote counts, and – like all Americans – can get involved personally in election work to see firsthand.

SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES

Many people look to American elections as models of freedom, fairness, transparency, and checks and balances. Veterans often know firsthand – while other countries’ elections are more unstable, we hold firm to our systems of checks and balances. As citizens, we have a voice that many people around the world do not.

PROMOTE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO VOTING

Eligible voters need options. Mail-in ballots, drop boxes, and vote centers aren't loopholes — they're lifelines for millions of Americans, including military and overseas voters. Troops and military voters deployed overseas vote by mail ballot and are subject to the same rigorous security checks that protect all of our elections – they deserve to have their votes counted here at home.
