Minority Veterans of America and The Chamberlain Network Launch National Storytelling Tour in Chicago, Centering Transgender Service Members, Veterans, and Families

WHAT: Our Stories, Our Truth: A National Tour Honoring the Legacy of Us — a national storytelling tour created by Minority Veterans of America (MVA) and The Chamberlain Network (TCN) — is launching in Chicago on April 11, 2026. Public and local media are invited to bear witness to the lived experiences of Transgender Service Members, Veterans, and Families. The event will feature a mix of local voices and national speakers sharing personal stories of service, identity, and community.

This tour comes at a critical moment — amid increasing division and harmful narratives about identity, patriotism, and who belongs — offering communities the chance to understand one another not through debates or headlines, but through the power of human story. Stories shared at the event will also be captured on video for national distribution as part of the six-month, multi-city tour.

The event is open to the public. Sign up today. Donations are welcome.
